Meeting Date Schedule for 2008

Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month from 10:00 to 12:00 AM in the Board of Supervisors chambers on the third floor of the Civic Center. All past and present Marin County Grand Jurors are invited to attend. Members of the public are also invited to attend speaker portions of the meetings held during the first hour.

Speakers/Special Events planned to date include the following:

March 20 - Eckhart Sellinger - Director of Sons in Retirement (SIRS)

April 17 - Kathie Henderson, Director Osher Life Long Learning Institute, Dominican University

May - Annual Reunion Luncheon, Speaker will be Thomas Peters, President and CEO, Marin Community Foundation

June 19 - Several members of the current Grand Jury will be present to discuss their recently issued reports.

September 18 - Members of The League of Women Voters will review the propositions of the coming California ballot.

October 16 - Tour of the Buck Institute For Aging

November 20 - Judge Adams and Court Administrator Kim Turner. Planning Chambers next to BOS chambers.
