unanimously.

The chapter President’s remarks included the following-

reunion luncheon will be May 21; more information will be coming.

- Excellence in Reporting- The committee needs more members as they

figure out what recommendations to make on GJ reports.

- Public Outreach- Has apparently had success shown by the over 100 GJ

applicants this year.

- Membership- Mentioned the things that the committee is working on such

as: Updating lists, membership classifications, possible membership

premiums, and such.

- Continuity- The newly-constituted committee had their first meeting. They

talked of their way forward. They plan to review GJ reports and responses

and see what results to help the standing GJ. They see themselves as a

key committee in supporting the GJ system. The committee is short

handed, thus looking for additional members.

- Nominations/Elections- They have been lining up candidates for offices for next year. They will present a slate. There are still openings for

candidates for the Board of Directors.

Jury 7-9 and 14-16. They also are in the process of reviewing the manual.

- Public Issues- The committee plans to research and discuss public issues. The criteria have been selected. They have also thought up some topics for discussion, such as, the MMWD Desalinization program, Marin County Planning. They may invite the general public to their discussions and may submit complaints to the GJ as a result of the discussions. A Public Issues Charter was moved, seconded and approved unanimously.

Under New Business it was proposed that the Board of Directors have three members at large versus one for 2009-2010. The motion was made, seconded and approved unanimously.

The meeting was adjourned at about 12:45 PM.
