The 2010 annual reunion luncheon, held on May 21 at The Club at McGinnis Park, was attended by 62 members and their guests,
Social Committee Co-Chairs Ann Marie Melanephy and Mary Arthur
welcome members and guests.
The power table includes Chapter Treasurer Frank Keenan , featured speaker Assembly Member for the 6th District Jared Huffman, Chapter President Catherine McKown, Marin County Superior Court Presiding Judge Boren, and Court Executive Officer Kim Turner. They definitely seem to be enjoying themselves.

Several other miscellaneous scenes as members and guests arrive and take choose their table seats.

Chapter President Catherine McKown thanked members for their participation in Chapter activities in the 2009-2010 term and then was master of ceremonies for the rest of the program.
Chapter Treasurer Frank Keenan (he's not sleeping) provides a sparkling and humorous introduction to featured speaker Jared Huffman, Assembly Member for the 6th District.

Assembly Member Jared Huffman describes his frustrations with the California legislative process in Sacramento and his own legislative initiatives. He also answered numerous questions from the floor.

Following our speaker awards were made, a few door prize gifts were presented, and a brief meeting of the general membership was held.

2009-10 Grand Jury Fore person Judy Chapman provided an update on the current Grand Jury's progress including release of its latest report, The Marin Health and Wellness Campus: An Innovative Commitment to Health Care-(public release date May 21, 2010. District Attorney, don't get excited.)

Chapter Vice-President Bernie Bolger, convener of the Public Issues Committee, reports on the progress of this Chapter committee recently established to complement the grand jury system.

Nominations & Election Committee Chair Owen Haxton invites additional nominations for 2010-11 Chapter officer and director-at-large positions. Receiving none and there being only one nominee for each position, he calls for a voice vote, and declares the nominated slate elected. Owen is the next Chapter President.
